Minal Panchal was born in Borivali in Mumbai, India, on July 17, 1980. Throughout her life, Minal was encouraged by her family to pursue her dream of exploring and analyzing architecture, and she received a bachelor’s degree from Rizvi College of Architecture in 2003. After working professionally for several years, Minal was admitted to the Master of Science program at Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture and Design. Minal’s enrollment at Virginia Tech in the fall of 2006 also brought her to University Bookstore, where she worked as part of the bookstore’s invaluable fall rush clerk crew. Minal generously continued her employment with our corporation throughout the fall semester working at the stadium Hokie Shops on football game days, where her coworkers remember her fondly.
